Brittney Frazier - Head Dog Trainer
APDT, CPDT-KA, CGC and UCGC Evaluator
Brittney is the Head Trainer here at Found Chicago and is an APDT, CPDT-KA, and CGC and UCGC Evaluator. Brittney was born into a family who has always appreciated animals and welcomed many a dog and cat into their home. Her dream of working with dogs began when she went door to door asking to walk the neighbors’ dogs as a child and proceeded into high school when she worked as a kennel technician at a puppy store. With her added experience as a dog handler in a dog daycare and volunteer work in shelters, Brittney hoped to combine her love of dogs with her love of people and graduated from Monmouth College, where competed on the cross country and track teams. Her major included a concentration in Human Services, where she was able to complete an internship at a Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center, learning even more about animal behavior as it relates to humans. She continued in her training career by volunteering at a service dog organization, where she realized an interest in helping people learn to handle their dogs and work effectively as a team. After receiving her CPDT-KA, she has enjoyed working with Found Chicago's rescues to better her handling and training skills. She enjoys her work representing Found Chicago Boarding and Training in helping clients' to create a lasting training relationship with their dogs because she feels she is impacting lives daily. Brittney has two rescue dogs, lab mix Jolie and border collie mix Mona, who she spends most of her free time with.
